Jennifer is a franchise attorney with Luther Lanard who draws on more than two decades of legal experience to help franchisees resolve disputes and navigate business challenges. Her career has spanned private practice, executive leadership, and higher education, giving her a broad perspective on the legal, operational, and strategic challenges faced by business owners.

Jennifer began her career as a litigator in private practice, representing clients in complex commercial litigation. She later served as Lead Counsel and General Counsel for organizations in highly regulated industries, including supermarkets, healthcare, and manufacturing. In those roles, she advised executive leadership on a wide range of legal and business matters, managed and resolved complex litigation, negotiated commercial agreements and leases, and supported strategic business initiatives.

She brought that same practical, business-focused perspective to the classroom, first as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law and then as an Assistant Professor of Management with a concentration in Business Ethics, where she prepared future leaders to think critically and apply ethical decision-making frameworks to contemporary business challenges.

Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law, Newark, and her bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She is licensed to practice law in New Jersey.

Outside of the office, she serves on the Board of Governors of the Ramapo College Foundation, volunteers on church committees, and supports local food banks.
