Ryan Patterson has been a civil litigator for over a decade with extensive experience in intellectual property and business litigation matters covering various areas such as trademarks, copyrights, partnership dissolutions, and contractual disputes. He currently focuses his practice on franchise law by helping clients resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Mr. Patterson has represented clients in both Federal and State courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. He has also successfully prosecuted trademark applications, and both prosecuted and defended trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Chapman University. During law school, Mr. Patterson served as a Staff Editor for the Chapman Journal of Criminal Justice and earned the Witkin/CALI Awards in Principles of Constitutional Argument, Construction Law, and the Chapman Constitutional Jurisprudence Clinic. He also holds Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from Biola University.
