Kyle has handled complex commercial disputes, government investigations, and white-collar matters since 2008. As former senior in-house counsel at a Fortune 200 company and associate at international law firms in Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C., he has successfully advised and represented business clients in federal and state court, arbitration, mediation, settlement negotiations, and regulatory matters. Kyle combines litigation experience with expertise in emerging technology. He has served as an AI product manager for a legal tech startup, and as a Generative AI and legal operations consultant for legal professionals. He is dedicated to helping franchisees navigate their challenging legal issues by drawing on his business perspective and technological innovations.
Prior to joining Luther Lanard, Kyle practiced litigation as Senior Counsel at WESCO Distribution, Inc., Senior Associate at Reed Smith LLP in Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C., and Associate at White & Case LLP in Washington, D.C. He also served as a federal law clerk to U.S. District Judge W. Louis Sands in the Middle District of Georgia.
Education
Kyle received his J.D. from The College of William and Mary School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Personal Life
Kyle lives in the Pittsburgh area with his wife and two children, and enjoys soccer, running, and skiing.
